26 Feb Read Across America 2014 Celebrating Dr. Seuss
Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually in honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Grab your hat and head to The Westin Ka’anapali Ocean Resort Villas with your keiki for a scenic reading with special guests on Monday, March 3, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:30am on the South Lanai’i Lawn.
The oceanfront Seussical celebration will kick off with a complimentary snack bar, followed by 3 stories and the grand finale when each keiki who participates will be able to choose a book of their choice to take home with them. Each family will receive a list of the top 100 greatest books to read to your keiki, a Dr. Seuss activity booklet, and an informational piece explaining the importance of reading for our keiki.
