28 Mar Maui Marathon COVID-19 Update
A message from The Maui Marathon Race Committee:
“We are closely monitoring the rapidly-evolving situation of the COVID-19 outbreak. The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and our island is our absolute top priority and we will continue to monitor the developments as they transpire.
At this time, all of our events are scheduled to take place as planned as long as we can continue to create the type of experience that would meet our standards and create a quality event that we have had for 49 years. There are several factors that we have to look at being on a small island and we will follow the guidelines and rules of the State of Hawaii and County of Maui.
Our team cares deeply about the Maui Marathon and the island of Maui as a whole, and we are doing everything we can, within our control, to ensure the 50thAnnual Maui Marathon event can take place this October. Please know, health concerns and a safe environment are our top priority.
In the meantime, we encourage all too adhere to the CDC’s guidelines regarding personal hygiene and appropriate social distancing. Please continue to check back for updates.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Maui Marathon Race Committee”
