Ka‘anapali Fresh has evolved into the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival Maui!  October 20th-22nd, 2017 the lush paradise of Ka‘anapali Beach Resort and will feature a roster of internationally renowned master chefs and culinary personalities. Co-founded by two of Hawai‘i’s own James Beard Award-winning chefs, Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the Festival in Hawai‘i Island, Maui, Honolulu, and Ko Olina Resort will showcase wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, one-of-a-kind excursions, and exclusive dining opportunities with dishes highlighting the state’s bounty of local produce, seafood, beef and poultry.

Hawaii Regional Cuisine grew from relationships chefs developed with farmers, ranchers and fisherman. Every year, Ka’anapali Beach Resort and Hawaii Food & Wine Festival Kaanapali celebrates these important relationships with a Grown on Maui Farmers Market on the beautiful Kaanapali Beachwalk. The market’s bounty attracts residents and visitors to meet Maui farmers from Maui’s upcountry region including Maui Gold Pineapple Company and family farms J. Shishido, B. Otani, Traje, Texeria, Monden, Haines and West Maui NapiliFlo, and enjoy the delicious flavors of our island. Executive Chef Charlie Owen of Hula Grill Ka’anapali will have locally sourced breakfast featuring Malama Farm 100% Berkshire (Kurobuta) Pork in Hawaii. Come early for farm fresh omelettes and pancake dishes with Malama Farm Sausage. The Market is a good time for the general public to meet the visiting chefs and shop!
