Hyatt Regency Maui Welcomes Fred Findlen, New General Manager

Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa announces the appointment of Fred Findlen as its new general manager. A veteran of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts with a wide-ranging background in the hotel industry, Findlen brings 31 years of hospitality experience following numerous management positions held at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in the United States and international properties. Findlen has been with Hyatt since 1985, most recently serving at General Manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino.

Findlen began his career at Hyatt as a corporate management trainee in 1985. Since then, he has climbed the ranks, holding various positions with the Hyatt Regency Orlando, Grand Hyatt Washington, Hyatt Regency Washington, and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, a Five Diamond property. In 1994, Findlen relocated to Puerto Rico to serve as assistant general manager of the Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and Country Club. In 1997, Findlen was appointed assistant general manager at Hyatt Regency Cerromar, followed by one year as general manager of Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa in Florida. In 2001, Findlen returned to Hyatt Dorado Beach Resort and Country Club to serve as general manager before moving to Maryland to become general manager of the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina. Findlen most recently served as general manager of the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino from 2010 to 2016.
