25 Aug HFWF23 Maui Events Postponed to Spring 2024 in Kāʻanapali
Thank you for your support of the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival®. The recent wildfires affecting West Maui have been devastating for all of us and our hearts go out to all that have been impacted by this disaster.
Governor Josh Green recently issued Governor’s Emergency Proclamation VI which strongly discourages non-essential travel to West Maui from August 17-October 17, 2023. In light of the ongoing recovery efforts, the Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival will postpone the October 13-15, 2023 events in Kāʻanapali, Maui to the Spring 2024.
The affected events include:
- First Hawaiian Bank Presents 26th Annual Roy Yamaguchi Golf Classic on October 13, 2023
- Ocean’s 13 at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa on October 14, 2023
- Livin’ La Vita Vino at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Ka‘anapali on October 15, 2023
We remain unwavering in our commitment to support Maui’s recovery and our partners the Kāʻanapali Beach Resort Association, Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, The Westin Maui Resort & Spa Kaʻanapali, Kāʻanapali Golf Course and Roy’s Kaanapali. As part of our ongoing efforts to aid the West Maui community, we are continuing to raise funds for displaced restaurant, bar and hospitality workers through the Kokua Restaurant & Hospitality Fund.
We look forward to welcoming you to the Maui events in the spring and encourage you to join us on the Island of Hawai‘i or O‘ahu from October 20 to November 5, 2023, where you can participate in a variety of events as part of the Thirteenth Annual Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival.

Each year, proceeds from HFWF ticket purchases go toward supporting Hawai‘i’s farmers, ranchers, and fishermen and agricultural education for children, in addition to investing in up-and-coming chef talent at local culinary colleges.
As a program of the nonprofit, Hawai‘i Ag & Culinary Alliance, HFWF has donated more than $3.5 million to community and ‘āina-based organizations that support sustainability, culinary and agricultural education, and cultural programs in Hawai‘i.
