Chinese New Year Brunch at Kaanapali Beach Hotel

Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawai’i – January 22, 2008  Come and celebrate the Year of the Rat, Chinese New Year, with Kaanapali Beach Hotel’s fabulous Champagne Brunch on Sunday, February 10th. A 17-year tradition, Kaanapali Beach Hotel will have performances by the Lion Dancers of Au’s Shaolin Arts Society. There will be dance appearances at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m.

The holiday buffet features over 50 items including Asian delicacies like crispy won tons, egg rolls, mini manapua, Chinese roasted duck, cashew chicken with cake noodles, black bean shrimp, hoisin glazed pork ribs, spicy beef stir-fry and kau yuk (Chinese roasted pork). There will be a Chinese wok stir-fry action station along with an iced seafood bar, our signature Belgian waffles, and our chefs will be carving slow-roasted smoked prime rib. Specialty desserts like almond floats, fortune cookies, Chinese pretzels, and almond cookies highlight a buffet of sweets to finish this celebration brunch.

The Big West
Women’s Golf Championship
April 18–21, 2026
For just the fourth time since 1987, The Big West Women’s Golf Championship will be played in Hawai‘i from April 18–21, 2026. Kā‘anapali Golf Courses (Maui) and the University of Hawai‘i will host nine Big West teams for three days of stroke play competition. Attendance will be free for walking spectators.
