Whale Talks at Whalers Village Museum

Each year humpback whales migrate from Alaska to Hawaii. Whale season begins in November and goes through May. Maui welcomes the majority of whales that come to mate, calve and nurse their young. This year the first sightings were reported in late October!

Whalers Village Whale Talks

With the return of the whales, the Whalers Village Museum hosts free Whale Talks presented by the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary (HIHWNMS) & Oceanology on Thursdays and Fridays at 11am and 2pm. Come and learn more about our annual visitors at Whale Talks!
