Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival Kā‘anapali

Hawai‘i Food & Wine Festival Kā‘anapali is back! Our diverse Kā‘anapali community comes together to put on “the premier epicurean destination event in the Pacific.” From Oct. 14 to 16, our resorts will be home to a culinary explosion of wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and remarkable dining experiences.

The party kicks off with the 19th Annual Roy’s Annual Golf Classic at noon on Friday, Oct. 14, at Kā‘anapali Golf Course. Top chefs, winemakers and pro golfers join in the action, which features a shotgun start and best-ball scramble format, fueled by gourmet food, beer, cocktails and dinner at the 19th hole prepared by Roy’s Kā’anapali.

On Saturday, Oct. 15, a fun mixology lunch event delves into “The Dark and Stormy Underbelly of Cocktails.” Held at the Westin Kā‘anapali Ocean Resort Villas, “Scandal!” features Jen Ackrill and Aaron Alcala-Mosley talking story about some of the greatest scandals in cocktail history (and making some of those cocktails as well!).

That evening rolls out the gala event: “Kā‘anapali: A Chef’s Paradise” from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. Thirteen renowned chefs, including the Sheraton’s own Greg Gaspar, and Maui’s Bev Gannon and Isaac Bancaco, create a sustainable feast starring the island’s best seafood, meat and produce paired with amazing wine.

Hawaiian Airlines presents “Soaring Palates” on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa. Six chefs prepare six courses that take guests on a culinary journey from the East Coast to the West Coast and across the Pacific to Japan, complete with fine wine pairings by Southern Wine & Spirits Hawai‘i.

And don’t forget about the Grown on Maui Farmers Market, held on our beautiful Kā‘anapali Beachwalk. The market’s bounty attracts residents and visitors to meet Maui farmers and enjoy the delicious flavors of our island.
