April 25th marks World Penguin Day and the Hyatt Regency Maui invites you to celebrate with its seven African Black-Footed Penguins. The 2017 Maui Steel Guitar Festival will be held on April 28-30, 2017 at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, and at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center during the afternoon of April 30, 2017.
The festival is presented free to the public by Maui’s Arts Education for Children Group, the Hawaii Institute for Music Enrichment and Learning Experiences (HIMELE) in association with the Ke Kula Mele Hawai’i School of Hawaiian Music, and the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, with grants and support from the Hawaii Tourism Authority’s Community Enhancement Program (CEP).
