Cal, Marquette & Wichita State Receive Tournament Surfboards

The Maui Jim Maui Invitational presented three schools, Cal, Marquette and Wichita State, with their custom 2017 Tournament surfboards this past week.

Each of the school’s mascots took part in the presentations, including Cal’s Oski, Marquette’s Golden Eagle and Wichita State’s WuShock. The Bears received their surfboard on Sunday during a win over Colorado, the Eagles showcased their surfboard at halftime of their game against Butler on Tuesday and the Shockers were presented with their souvenir surfboard on Thursday night prior to their victory against Missouri State.

About Cal and the Maui Jim Maui Invitational: Cal will make its third appearance in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational this November. The Bears own a 4-3 record in their two previous trips to the Tournament in 1996 and 2013.

About Marquette and the Maui Jim Maui Invitational: Marquette will make its third appearance in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational this November. The Golden Eagles own a 5-2 record in their two previous trips to the Tournament in 2007 and 2012.

About Wichita State and the Maui Jim Maui Invitational: Wichita State will make its second appearance in the Maui Jim Maui Invitational this November. The Shockers went 2-1 in the 2010 Tournament.
